Any tips about "Georgia on my mind" as played by Mickey Raphael?

First of all, you want to make sure you have the correct key harmonica for the version of the song-

Willie Nelson - "Willie and Family"
http://www.harmonicalessons.com/members/cdskeyed/cds_nelson_family.php
The song is played in the key of "C" and Mickey uses a key of "F" diatonic and plays in 2nd position.

Willie Nelson - "Stardust"
http://www.harmonicalessons.com/members/cdskeyed/cds_nelson_stardust.php
The song is played in the key of "Db" and Mickey uses a key of "F#" diatonic and plays in 2nd position.

I haven't heard it for a while, but I do remember that it is fairly straight-forward 2nd position playing focusing mostly on holes 2, 3, and 4 draw.

Hopefully, this will help get you started.

Play on,
Dave
