"the right amp/mic"

   hello,
I have a Hohner Blues Blaster mic and a small 16 watt Kustom guitar amp. When i put the mic in i only turn it up a little and i get extremne feedback. Its so bad i have to turn it off. I can barley turn up the mic before this happens. Is this just my amp or what? SHould i get a bigger amp or does the size not matter or does my amp just suck? any imput will help. thanks.

Welcome to the world of amplified harmonica playing !!

Yes, your amp is most likely the problem, but just cupping your hands around any type of mic is asking for feeback. You should have less problems with a bigger amp, but feedback will never completely go away.

Read this section first and then ask your new questions back here-
