"Songs, Tabs"

I'm brand new at the all this, a definate newbie! I have been practicing though and there is a song I would really love to learn. It's from the Movie, Rio Bravo (western) John Wayne. In the movie Dean Martin and Ricky Nelson sing a song named My Rifle My Pony and Me. If you're familiar with it you know it's a short simple song, if not you can go to this site and listen to it. I'm wondering if anyone can tab it for me. http://www.fromtheheartpostcards.com/ICQ/JohnWayneMenu.html

Thanks in Advance,
tat357

Tommy

The song is in the key of "C" and with a key of "C" diatonic you should be able to work it out.

To get you started, the first line after intro, "Purple eyes, in the canyon..." is:

6B 5B 4B
8B 7B 6D 7B
6B 5B 4B
5B 6B 6D
(unless you can bend 3 draw well or have a chromatic, the above is the easiest way to play it, but you do have to go up to the higher octave on the second line).

Play on,
Dave Gage
