First, I got a response from a couple of folks, and I appreciate their help.Second, here, compliments of "Staggerin' Jim" Greenwald, is the song key chart he worked up for Volume I of the "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" This is from the re-issued, remastered CD set, so there's some additional songs at the end of disc 2. Jim notes that these are the song keys, that all should be played in 2nd position except Nashville Blues, which is in 3rd position. Also, there isn't harp on every tune...but hell, ya can put it there if ya want, right? So a big thank you to Staggerin' Jim, and here's his list:
Disc 1,

Nashville Blues D minor (use 3rd position)

Remember Me D
Third, here's my attempt at discerning the song keys for Volume III. It's not complete, as I'm still working on it. I don't claim any great competency in doing this, but its a start. If you think I might have got one wrong....help us all out by putting up a correction....OK, here goes.
Volume III, Disc 1;
Take Me in Your Lifeboat G
Milk Cow Blues G
I Find Jesus A
Hold Watcha Got F (ain't real sure about this one)
Mama's Opry B flat
Diamonds in the Rough C
Lonesome River D
Some Dark Holler E (another one I'm not sure of)
The Lowlands B (or maybe B minor)
Love Please Come Home B
Goodnight Irene E
That's as far as I've got. Remember, no guarantee as to their correctness....use them as a starting point. I figure I might have gotten a few right.
And again, a big thanks to Staggerin' Jim for his work on Volume I
Enjoy the music and PLAY!
