"Herman (diaton) Playing Critique"
 
Hi Dave

I have attached a file with a short piece. "I need thee every hour." I would really appreciate your thoughts on my progress. I have been playing for three months.

Herman,

It sounds solid. Excellent for only 3 months.

Single notes are good and the vibrato is strong and appropriate. As with virtually everyone I hear who has played less than 5-10 years, breathing can be improved to enhance your tone and to create a greater sense of power and confidence in your overall sound.

   Thanks, Dave. I've been working on the breathing technique. Didn't know it could take so long to perfect it. That's good to know, othewise I might get frustrated after a few months. I really appreciate your critique and encouraging words.
