wow ive just got the first 2 riffs? (if thats what to call them in this jam?) down pretty good but nowhere near what Dave gage plays like. it will take some time. My friends online here said they are going to start tackling this on the weekend when they dont have to work. But Im making some pretty good progress!!!
just need to know 3 things:Dave just a couple of things here:
what brand of harp are you using in taps?
special 20? lee oskar? wood, metal or plastic comb?
also in the taps intro in the first half it sounds like a chord progressions fused in with the lead riffs are those all single notes played very fast? or are you sneaking some chords in there I just cant tell.
who where/are your main inspirational Harp players?
becouse you REALLY know how to turn coal in to diamonds with a harp!!!!!!
Thank you dave Beth Campbell
"what brand of harp are you using in taps?"
I don't remember."special 20? lee oskar? wood, metal or plastic comb?"
As long as it plays well and doesn't leak air, brand and comb material make virtually no difference at all. It's 99% the player.
" who where/are your main inspirational Harp players?"
About 25 years ago I stopped listening to harmonica players and began listening to guitar players, drummers, clarinet, sax players and others. Before that, I started with Dylan, Neil Young, John Mayall, Sonny Terry, Butterfield, Norton Buffalo, Charlie McCoy, Lee Oskar, Magic Dick, James Cotton, and others.
