: Dear harp players
: I have read that the so called country tuning (filing the 5 th reed) is very useful for playing jazz music in second position. Does anybody have experience with this and can you buy harps already tuned this way?
: Also what position is best to play jazz with a diatonic harp?
: Cheers

I can only answer the last question: the best position to play jazz in is in 3rd. I read this in a book. I don't know about the tunings, on Lee Oskar's u can get Natural Minor tuning, Melodic Minor tuning and Harmonic Minor tuning(if im not mistaken, which i dont think i am), but u probably already knew of these tunings.
