"Neil Young - Far From Home"

   Hello,

I'm a big Neil Young fan, and I was wondering if anybody could tell me the key of the song/harmonica used for "Far From Home" off of his newest album, Prairie Wind. The songs "Prairie Wind" and "He Was The King" also have harmonica in them, and these keys would also be greatly appreciated.

Here is a link for amazon:

Thank You Very Much,
Reid

Far From Home- The song is in the key of "G" and played in 2nd Position on a key of "C" diatonic. The first notes I heard start with hole 4 draw.

Prairie Wind- This one is in the key of "Dm", but really more like "D" rock, so a blues scale would work great on this. 3rd Position on a key of "C" diatonic (in the key of Dm) would also work well. I didn't hear anything harmonica on the clip.

He was the King- From what little I heard, it sounds like the key of "C", but I'd need to hear more to know for sure.

Play on,
Dave Gage
