Does anyone know how to play the intro that song? I'll search around for a link to post.

If I remember correctly, Charlie Musselwhite played the original harmonica part and I think it was on a bizarrely tuned diatonic. My "professional" opinion is that you dump this one and pick a different song. There's tons of cool parts out there where you don't have to buy or create a strangely tuned diatonic.

I was curious about this since his website sys he did it, but Wikipedia said the harp in that song was sampled rather than played live. Yet, on Youtube (before I heard Musselwhite had done the intro)one of the band memebers was playing it...with a harmonica holder, while playing guitar.
I emailed Musselwhite's website for information. I got an E-Mail from Charley himself! He said he recorded some stuff with INXS in Sydney and they ran some of it through their keyboard. That's what they used later for Suicide Blonde. He was not aware of the video where the guitarist is playing the song.

Dave...you're right about dropping this one. I've got some other fun stuff in the works. I am curious though...do you think the guy in the video is faking it?

Alberto,

Yes, the guitarist was lip-syncing the part. If you listen closely, what is being played is identical to the original samples.
