Jerry Stack
I attend a beginning harmonica class given at the Senior Center in Boynton Beach, Florida. Mark Rose volunters as our instructor and we hope to build interest in harmonica playing among our senior neighbors. At our class last week, one of our fellow students told the following story:
He was attending a veterans memorial service in the neighboring town of Lake Worth, Florida. At the ceremony, "Taps" were to be played from a CD, but the CD player would not work. Our fellow student volunteered to play "Taps". He approached the podium took out his harmonica and played. The audience response was overwhelming as well as heartwarming.
