: I have a 20 in c and a Oskar in a. I want to order a few more keys but I don't know which to get. The 20 fits my mouth better, but from what I hear the Oskar is the way to go. I am an "advanced beginner" and still have a hard time bending notes. Can anyone help?
: Thanks
The Oskar is going to last you much longer. If you are still learning to bend you'll blow through the SP 20's so fast you'll wonder what hit you. Pretty soon you'll start selling household items on Ebay to support your harmonica habit. Trust me I've been there. Stick with the Oskars until you've got your bending down. Strange thing happened to me, I blew through almost 30 harps in 11 months. About 4 months ago it just stopped, I've only blown one reed in 4 1/2 months. I chalk it up to better technique and experience. Now I've started playing other harps again including Sp 20's and the Hering black Blues which in my opinion is the best diatonic harp on the market today (Excluding customs).. Stick with the Oskars for now until you get your chops down.
