The tonguing is fine. I'd avoid the tongue blocking for a while until your other basics like single notes and bending are firmly entrenched. I get my students into T Blocking after about 6-12 months of playing. My best advice, don't try to learn everything at once, it doesn't speed up the process.
Good luck,

: I am brand new at the harmonica. Sometimes I uses the "ta" and "da" method for single repetitive note distinction. Other times I find myself blocking the hole with my tongue. Is this ok or am I going to mess up future lessons? Thanks for the previous advice!
