i have bluesmasters in "a" and "d", i bought them about half a year ago and none of them has gone flat.....
i think they are good harps, better if you get them for a very good prize, and its hard for you to find hohners. The sound seems to be a bit brighter and they have less "power" than the golden melody or the special 20,
the ones i bought came playing very well without any tweaks, they are airtight and it seems they dont need any adjustement to overblow the lower holes.
for begginers, this harp seems to be a bit harder to bend, but its something you can deal with only having a bit of practice
..i think ill keep them... the durability, accesibility and cost (for me), make me forget about the better sound that hohners have...
(note that i have had little problems with flat reeds, so durability for me is not very much a problem)
